Yesterday Was A "Flipped" Out Day! LOL.

This is the same picture as yesterday from the same place of course. I thought I could flip it but no such luck.
So this is what yesterdays post said "right side up", for those of you who had no time &/or no patience to read the "flipped" out version.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today's post is being brought to you courtesy of "upside down writing"

So what to say, what to say. Well, I guess I can start by telling you that I once gave a speech (at a Chamber of Commerce Toastmasters club no less) backwards. LOL. That may be something that would be even more appreciated if I were using the upside down writing feature now. Don't worry though. I'll get to that too. LOL.

Anyway's onto the actual "meat & potatoes" of this post. With today being December 1st, NaBloPoMo and NaNoWriMo are both officially over as is the commenting week IComLeavWe (NaComLeMo) that ended on November 28th. Let's start with NaBloPoMo since that's where it was at for me. I finished the whole month and didn't cheat on my main blog. On the blogher site I missed one day by two/three minutes but since the posts to that site were reposts from my original site and it was posted on time there I don't count it as a fail.

Additionally, the administrators nicely gave me time change day credit for that post and reposted/retimed it somehow to show as being posted an hour earlier at 11:02pm even though the time change day was a few days later. I'm not complaining. It made my posting days look "proper" to anyone checking out my posts from the blogher site.

Then there were the pictures that I started posting as of October 31st with the Hello Kitty carved pumpkin photo. That one was followed by the entire NaBloPoMo month's worth of postings being accompanied with at least one photo each. Congratulations to me. Somedays I really wondered what I was going to post. Hopefully it didn't show that much.

Then there is NaNoWriMo. That was a total bust. I signed up and had a profile on the site and wrote exactly - nothing. Had a 0 word count for the entire month. LOL. Pathetic, I know. Blogging is easy. Novel writing, damn hard. Or in my case, this year anyway, impossible. Well, there is always next year. I think I'll start "training" now to get a "jump-start".

Finally on the topic of NaThis and IThat, there is IComLeavWe (NaComLeMo). I missed finding out about it until 3 or 4 days after it started so I have to wait for this month's version. Signup starts today (the 1st of each month) and goes till the 21st of the given month which is the start day as the week goes from the 21st to the 28th. I will definitely be doing this this month as well as trying to continue on with my daily blogging that NaBlo... helped to hopefully permanently instill good regular blog posting habits in me.

On to a last item unrelated to the Na.../I... stuff, November was a number of different groups specified "Profile Month" that I had heard about in passing and didn't fit into my posts. One that I actually remember and want to note its conclusion is Movember. That is, for anyone unfamilar with it, the "Profile Month" designation of the moustache growing contest that has taken place every year for the last several in support of prostate cancer research.

My nephew, Larry (one of three Larry's in the immediate family - lol) took part and raised at least/aproximately $500 last I heard which was well before the month and the event ended. So congratulations Larry on a job well done on your first but hopefully not last year supporting the cause.

Carmen.

P.S. As you can see from the first paragraph there is a bit of a wonkieness to it as I state that I am not writing upside down as I clearly am. That is because I typed that in when I was using a different feature on the sherv site but it turned out it was only copiable in msn message lines.

When I copied it to the flip feature I forgot about it and copied it as is. When I realized it, I didn't feel like going to the "trouble" of changing it incase it screwed up the whole flipping and therefore the whole post. Unlikely, but what can I say, it was late.

P.P.S. I will be posting a second post for the day shortly (as soon as I can get it prepared) with an appeal for some help regarding someone who needs the simple help of a bone marrow donation. Please read that post.

The C.A.T.
